Chemistry may be a part of natural science that deals principally with the properties of the substances, the changes they are going through, and therefore the natural laws that describe these changes. Antoine Lavoisier is known as the father of Chemistry and Marie Anne Paulze Lavoisier is known as the mother of Modern Chemistry.

The basic unit of chemistry is atoms and molecules.

 In chemistry, a student can study the science describing matters and their transformations. It defines molecules, nanostructures, extended solids, and their properties, reaction, and applications.

Chemistry is vital because of its importance for meeting our basic needs of food, clothing, shelter, energy, health, clean air, water, and soil.

Chemical technology improves the standard of living in many ways by providing the latest solutions to problems in health, materials, and energy usage.
